O objetivo geral da pesquisa é analisar o enfrentamento da exploração sexual comercial infantil. O problema que orientou a pesquisa foi como estão sendo desenvolvidas as estratégias municipais de enfrentamento à exploração sexual comercial de crianças e adolescentes? O método de abordagem é dedutivo e o método de procedimento monográfico com técnicas de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Constata-se que para o enfrentamento do problema torna-se necessário a formulação de ações municipais intersetoriais com envolvimento de famílias, sociedade e Estado, fortalecendo o empoderamento social mediante atividades de sensibilização; capacitação dos profissionais da rede; planejamento de estratégias que considerem as especificidades.

The main objective of this research is to analyze the confronting of commercial sexual exploitation. The problem of the research was to comprehend how the municipal strategies to confront commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents are being developed?
